Aleister Crowley

Aleister Crowley, born Edward Alexander Crowley in Warwickshire in 1875, was the self-proclaimed “Wickedest Man in the World” and the “Great Beast 666.” He also considered himself to be the “avatar of the Age of Horus” which was supposedly a 2000-year-old aeon, beginning in 1904, that would supplant Christianity with “Crowlianity.” Crowley had rebelled against a strict religious upbringing and was thus initiated into the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in 1898, after leaving Cambridge University. He left the Order after a row with its founders and then travelled to Mexico, India and Ceylon, where he was introduced to yoga and Buddhism which replaced his interest in the occult until an experience in Cairo in April 1904. Crowley was asked by his wife, Rose, to perform an esoteric ritual as an experiment. During the ceremony, she entered a trance-like state and became the medium for the words of a communicator. “They are waiting for you,” she said to Crowley. “They,” she said, being Horus, the god of war and the son of Osiris, according to the beliefs of ancient Egypt. The communicator told Crowley to be at his desk in his hotel room between noon and one o’clock on three specific days. He agreed and in these periods he wrote, via automatic writing, a document called The Book of the Law. This tome spoke of a race of supermen and condemned the traditional Judeo-Christian religions, pacifism, democracy, compassion and humanitarianism.

“Let my servants be few and secret: they shall rule the many and the known,” the communicator revealed. The message continued: 

“We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit; let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings; stamp down the wretched and the weak: this is the law of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world. … Love one another with burning hearts; on the low men trample in the fierce lust of your pride, in the day of your wrath. … Pity not the fallen! I never knew them. I am not for them. I console not; I hate the consoled and the consoler. … I am unique and conqueror. I am not of the slaves that perish. Be they damned and dead. Amen. … Therefore strike hard and low, and to hell with them, master. … Lurk! Withdraw! Upon them! This is the law of the Battle of Conquest: thus shall my worship be about my secret house. … Worship me with fire and blood; worship me with swords and with spears. Let the woman be girl with a sword before me: let blood flow in my name. Trample down the heathen; be upon them, O warrior, I will give you their flesh to eat. … Sacrifice cattle, little and big; after a child … kill and torture; spare not; be upon them!”

The same communicator confirmed that Crowley was the “Beast 666” who had come to destroy Christianity, something his mother had told him earlier in his life. Crowley apparently tried to ignore what he had written with his guided hand, but it would not go away, and from 1909 on he began to take it very seriously. He said: 

“After five years of folly and weakness, miscalled politeness, tact, discretion, care for the feeling of others, I am weary of it. I say today: to hell with Christianity, Rationalism, Buddhism, all the lumber of the centuries. I bring you a positive and primeval fact, Magic by name; and with this I will build me a new Heaven and new Earth. I want none of your faint approval or faint dispraise; I want blasphemy, murder, rape, revolution, anything, bad or good, but strong.”

In 1898 Crowley had joined the Order of the Golden Dawn where he made the acquaintance of his temporary mentor, MacGregor Mathers, leader of the occult group. Taking on the name of Brother Perdurabo (“I will endure”) and beginning his experiments with drugs, Crowley’s voracious bisexuality and his interests in the darker forces gave him a sinister reputation. He was very much a figure of decadence who loathed Christianity. The Golden Dawn taught a form of magic that was derived from the Kaballah and Rosicrucianism. There are also certainly similarities to Freemasonry and Theosophy. However, the magic espoused by the Order of the Golden Dawn soon proved to be insufficient for Aleister Crowley who was convinced that more potent magic could be harnessed through sex and drugs.

Crowley left his former tutor, MacGregor Mathers, a broken man as he embarked on a psychic war against him. They both conjured up demons to attack the other. The violent eruption concluded with Crowley claiming that Mathers was killed in a magical duel by a vampire he had conjured up. The would-be usurper proved to be too perverted and bizarre for the Order and was cast out. He formulated his own ideas, seeking aid from what he termed the Secret Chiefs (supposedly divine beings with supernatural intellects). The revelation that came to him in Cairo was via a demon named Aiwaz.

Crowley welcomed the First World War as necessary to sweep away the old age and usher in the new one. After going public with his revelations, he was made head of the German-based Ordo Templi Orientis that he had joined in 1912. The OTO emphasis on sexual magic was precisely what Crowley had been searching for. He founded his cult of Thelema in Sicily in 1920, but was expelled in 1923 amid accusations of, among other things, blood drinking, drug taking, and child sacrifice. He is known to have favoured the German war effort during the Second World War and, whilst abroad, once notoriously wrote in The Fatherland: “The sovereignty of England must be destroyed once and for all. England must be divided between the Continental Powers. She must be a mere province, or better still, colony of her neighbours, France and Germany.”

The major axioms of Satanism as it would later develop in the 1960s were contained in Liber Legis, orThe Book of the Law. The credo of the book was summed up in the now infamous phrase “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.” Crowley’s next important literary contribution was The Equinox (1909). Many of the ideas contained in this latter work became the basis for modern Satanism. Weighing 3.5 lb per volume, these were the journals of his newly formed Order of the Silver Star aka Argenteum Astrum. In 1929 came Crowley’s Magick in Theory and Practice. His American publishers, Dover, made a selling point of the claim that the book contains Crowley’s admission that he himself carried out ritual killings of children, a point not lost on a certain Henry Bibby at the end of the century. Having recommended to his readers the choice of “a male child of perfect intelligence,”Crowley later acknowledges that some of his acolytes might be squeamish when it comes to ritual sacrifice and offers the following conscience clause: “Those magicians who object to the use of blood have endeavoured to replace it with incense … But the bloody sacrifice, though more dangerous, is more efficacious; and for nearly all purposes human sacrifice is best.” Crowley offered no comforting disclaimers. He described his opus as a course of training to help people from all walks of life “fulfill themselves perfectly.” And he promises that “the student will discover … a practical method of making himself a magician.”

Within the same work, Crowley makes reference to unspecified progressive forms of blood sacrifice and he advocates self-mutilation, the offering of blood and virginity, and animal sacrifice by crucifixion. Crowley notoriously baptised a frog and called it “Jesus Christ” and then crucified it. This was in 1916, while living in New Hampshire, USA, during his induction ceremony to raise himself to the rank of magus.

The remainder of Crowley’s life is a long legacy of perversion and evil. He believed that degrading sexual practice and drug use destroyed the consciousness of any sense of morality. This in turn enabled the consciousness, deprived of any sense of “ought” or “law,” to come under the influence of powerful supernatural beings.

Former Labour prospective politician and National Children’s Home employee, David Hallam, commenting of Crowley’s opus, said: “People who are inadequate might pick up something like Crowley’s Magick in Theory and Practice and believe that they can control peoples’ lives by using magic, believing that if they do this to a child, they will have power. I cannot understand why anybody would want to publish a book advocating the ritual slaughtering of children. No doubt there’s a massive market for occult material. But publishers must remember that these are often handbooks. People are picking them up for a purpose.”

Jerry Johnston in The Edge of Evil (after the Enyclopedia of Occultism and Parasychology) has it that Crowley’s own son died a ritual death.

All but forgotten at the time of his death as a poverty-stricken heroin addict in a run-down Hastings boarding house in 1947, Crowley was rediscovered two decades later by drug-crazed hippies and also popularised by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin who bought Boleskine House, near Inverness, where Crowley attempted to invoke Aiwaz. John Symonds, Crowley’s biographer, recalled that “he merely attracted a host of evil spirits.” Richard Cavendish observed in A History of Magic that “though he was an almost forgotten man at his death, interest in Crowley has revived and he has more followers now than in his lifetime.”

Freemasonry

Until the 17th century, there were only “operative Masons.” However, in circa 1600, Masonry evidently began initiating non-stonemasons into its ranks. This formed the final catalyst that brought modern Masonry into being. Most Masons trace their founding to the first “Mother” Lodge that met in a tavern in London on the feast of St John, 24th June 1717. This is a day held most sacred by the Knights Templar. In 1726 this lodge became the “Grand Lodge of all England.” This was followed by schisms between other “Grand Lodges,” both in England and on the Continent. In 1773, the second most influential Grand Lodge, the “Grand Orient” was formed in France. This brings us to a most significant date in modern Freemasonry ~ 1st May 1776 ~ when the final element in the equation of Freemasonry was introduced. It already possessed by this time strains of fertility cults, Islamic mysticism, alchemy, Templary and Rosicrucianism. These were symbolic stones in the arch that formed a doorway to witchcraft.

The keystone on the arch was provided by an obscure Jesuit-trained professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt in Bavaria, Adam Weishaupt. The important date on the witchcraft calendar of May 1st was selected for the foundation of the Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria. It was founded on a mixture of Masonic secrets, Islamic mysticism and Jesuit mental discipline. The element that made it even more unique and dangerous was its scientific use of the drug Almamout Hashish to produce an “illuminated” state of mind. This was the drug of the Assassins. Illumination had long been a cherished component of Masonry and other occult groups. The Masonic candidate requests, and is promised, “light in Masonry.” As he goes up the ladder of initiation, he receives “more light.” It is because of this society’s emphasis on illumination that the Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria became known by its more common title of The Illuminati. The trapezoid (unfinished pyramid with four sides) is a most significant symbol in Satanism. The symbol is actually a metaphor for the oppressive hierarchy that reigns over the Masonic Lodge, and over many “democratic” governments, not least the American government where the all-seeing-eye above a trapezoid is used on the Great Seal of the United States (as depicted on the reverse of any dollar bill). The Illuminati eye is perched atop an incomplete pyramid with the date 1776 AD (the year Weishaupt founded the Illuminati) in Roman numerals at the bottom. The Muslim connection to the origins of Masonry is also difficult to ignore. The most glaring example in the world of the Lodge is, of course, the Shrine. The actual title of the Shriner organisation is the Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. The Shrine is openly evocative of Arab culture and the “shrine” in Masonry is the sacred shrine of Islam in Mecca. A Shrine initiate must swear the usual oath on the Koran, in addition to the Bible, ending thus: “May Allah, the God of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the God of our Fathers, support me to the entire fulfillment of the same, Amen, Amen, Amen.” (Shrine Ritual Monitor, Allen Publishing, pages 35-39). Muslims, of course, deny the deity of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection.

An Illuminatus is a Master Mason who has received all the “light” Masonry can bestow. He is beyond 33°. Such people are known as Masters or Masters of the Temple, and collectively they are known by several names other than the Illuminati; but, whatever they are called, they form an elite cadre of “super-Masons” with understanding of the principles of Freemasonry far beyond even the typical 33° Mason. The Bavarian seers themselves can be traced back to a 16th century Muslim cult of illuminated men called the Roshaniya in Afghanistan. Again we see the pervasive influence of Islam in these secret orders. It was probably from this Afghan connection that Weishaupt acquired his knowledge of hashish.

Weishaupt affiliated himself with the Masons, joining the Munich Lodge, in 1777. He played on the egotism that runs through Masonry and created a secret order within a secret order. The most powerful image in Illuminist sorcery is the sign of Dagon (1 Samuel 5): the hand, palm forward with the five digits extended. Weishaupt taught that everything occurred in fives. Human history came in a cycle of five stages and someone who understood these could manipulate history to his own ends.  The five stages were: Chaos; Discord; Confusion; Bureaucracy; Aftermath. Weishaupt gave wings to the geo-political ambitions of the Masons in a fashion not seen since the Templars. Though Masonry always had its political overtones, Weishaupt’s use of the Law of Fives, drugs and occult intrigues added momentum to the evil currents of the Lodge. This final fusion of statecraft with sorcery created the Freemasonry we know today without which modern witchcraft and the satanic revival of the 20th century would not have been possible. Every leading and influential witch, occultist and Satanist has invariably been a high-ranking Mason.

Arthur Edward Waite, occult author, magician and Masonic historian, wrote an encyclopedia of Freemasonry. Dr Wynn Westcott, member of the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia, was also a founding member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn whose members introduced Tantric sex magic rituals to Western society as a form of worship. S L MacGregor Mathers co-founded the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Aleister Crowley, pursued in letters by pseudo-scientist Alfred Kinsey for his “sexual experiences,” founded an anti-Christ religion called Thelema. Crowley, a master Satanist of the 20th century, advocated child sacrifice in his published work Magick in Theory and Practice, used children in perverted sexual rituals, and held several Masonic titles including the highest (33°) in the Ancient and Accepted Rite, and the second highest (96°) in the Ancient and Primitive Rite. Dr Gerard Encaussé, (Papus) masterful author, exponent of the Tarot, and leader of the occult Martinistes Society. Dr Theodore Reuss, head of the German satanic society Ordo Templi Orientis. (The OTO was represented in the British Isles by Aleister Crowley). George Pickingill, witch and sorcerer in England and leader of the “Pickingill covens.” Annie Besant, leader of the occult Theosophical Society and Co-Masonic hierarch. (Yes, there are female Masons!) Alice Bailey, founder of the New Age Lucis (formerly Lucifer) Trust. C W Leadbetter, Theosophist, mentor of the failed avatar, or New Age “Christ,” Krishnamurti, and prelate in the occult Liberal Catholic Church. Manly P Hall, Rosicrucian adept and author of popular Freemasonry manuals. Gerald B Gardner, member of Crowley’s depraved Ordo Templi Orientis, and founder and practitioner of modern witchcraft, or, as it known, wicca. Alex Sanders, self-styled “King of the Witches” based in London, England, and one of the most influential leaders of wicca after Gardner. Freemasonry welcomed all of these occultists and sorcerers into its highest ranks. In addition many minor occultists are drawn to the Lodge by its mysterious power. While all levels of Masonry have their share of occultists and wiccans, the Illuminati, the Ancient rites and the Supreme Council are especially likely to have them.

There could not be a witchcraft and

occult revival without Freemasonry.

Soon after the infiltration of Illuminism into Freemasonry at the end of the 18th century, another extraordinary figure emerged. His name was Albert Pike (1809-1891) and his impact was akin to that of Weishaupt’s. Pike became a Mason in 1850 and then, in a meteoric rise to power, was elected Grand Commander of the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States in 1859. He essentially made Scottish Rite Masonry the institution it is today, and expressed contempt for Christianity at every opportunity. One of his Masonic titles was “Sovereign Pontiff of Lucifer.” Pike regarded Lucifer as the true god, as do many witches and pagans today.

Pike chose to follow the mystery religions of Baal. If we look at his writings and statements attributed to him, we find that he acknowledged Lucifer as the true god and Adonay (the Biblical God) as the “god of evil.” Pike’s “fruits” are definitely satanic (Matthew 7: 15-20). Pike was influenced by the Italian Freemason and revolutionary, Giuseppi Mazzini (1805-1872). Mazzini had formed a society in Sicily called the Oblonica that means “I reckon with a dagger.” As is typical with the Masons, Mazzini formed an order within an order. This elite inner group was called by a term most people will recognise ~ the Mafia. The name is an acronym for Mazzini autorizza furti, incendi, avvelenamenti ~ Mazzini authorises thefts, arson and poisoning. The Mafia was also known by another term, Il Mano Nigro ~ the Black Hand. Mafia crimes were often sealed by a black handprint at the scene. This, of course, was an Illuminati touch: the hand with palm forward and five digits extended. Pike helped create the Ku Klux Klan, a secret terrorist society in the southern states of America. No black men were ever admitted to Masonic Lodges in the Southern Jurisdiction. Thus Negroes were obliged to adapt their own form of Masonry that is called Prince Hall Masonry.

In 1870 Pike and Mazzini completed an agreement to create a supreme, universal rite of Masonry that would over-arch all the other rites, even the different national rites. It centralised all high Masonic bodies in the world under one head. This head was, ultimately, Lucifer. Pike an Mazzini were his human regents. To this end the Palladium Rite was created as the pinnacle of the pyramid of power. Palladism is necessarily a Luciferian rite. Its religion is Manichæan neo-gnosticism, teaching that the divinity is dual and that Lucifer is the equal of Adonay, with Lucifer the “god of light and goodness” struggling for humanity against Adonay the “god of darkness and evil.” Albert Pike had only specified and unveiled the dogmas of the high grades of all other masonries, for in no matter what rite, the Masonic “Great Architect of the Universe” is not the God worshipped by the Christians. The Luciferian doctrine is implicit in the lower degrees, and only becomes an explicit teaching on the highest degrees. The highest of the high was the Palladium: an international alliance to bring in the Grand Lodges, the Grand Orient, the ninety-seven degrees of Memphis and Mizraim (the Ancient and Primitive Rite), and the Scottish Rite (the Ancient and Accepted Rite).

The traditional Palladium imprecation is: “Glory and Love for Lucifer! Hatred! Hatred! Hatred! To God accursed! Accursed! Accursed!” Palladism took the fuel from Adam Weishaupt’s dangerous vision for humanity and connected the energy to the pistons of Freemasonry. Those pistons were then driven in rhythm by the Palladium. In common with other Gnostic cults, the Palladium teaches that the serpent told the truth in the Garden of Eden. Candidates are exposed to a five-step programme: (1) Adoption: This is where the Mason is brought into the “fellowship” of Lucifer. He is guided into swearing an oath and being yoked to the temple of Lucifer. Ultimately, he is led into making a pact with Lucifer. (2) Illumination: Through drugs and occult techniques of the seers, the so-called Third Eye is opened. This “eye,” or the Ajna chakra, is felt to be the point of contact between humans and Lucifer consciousness. It is supposedly located in the forehead, above and between the two visible eyes. To “open” the eye a little is to experience psychic powers. To open it completely is to have the mind flooded with “pure” Luciferic consciousness. This is why one of the Masonic symbols is the “all-seeing-eye.” It is a symbol of Illumination. (3) Conversation: This involves communicating with the “mighty dead.” Spiritualism plays a significant part in the Palladium. Mediumship is encouraged and “conversation” with the sages of history is vital. (4) Congress: The initiate is led into being literally “married” to these dead. Usually this is done by having a medium of the appropriate gender become possessed by the “dead spirit” (ie demon), and then a sacrilegious wedding ceremony is consummated. It is believed that the magical “virtue” of the spirit flows from the possessed medium into the initiate through the act of intimacy. (5) Union: At this point, the soul of the initiate is totally eclipsed by the evil spirit. This is known as “perfect possession” and takes years of inviting the demons to come and own the person.

The Royal Arch degree is the climax of Craft Masonry. It is described as “the root and marrow of Freemasonry” and is the complete story of Jewish history during some of its darkest hours. In the 7°, the Royal Arch, the name Jah-Bul-On is discovered.

Only to those Master Masons who elect to be exalted to the Holy Royal Arch degree of Masonry is the “lost name” of their supreme being revealed. This “Grand Omnific Royal Arch Word” and “ineffable name” is contrary to everything ordinary Craft Freemasons have previously been told about the Mason’s god: TGAOTU (The Great Architect of the Universe). They cease to be free to believe in a generic term for God, according to their personal creed, or religion, but must now subscribe to Freemasonry’s idolatrous, unholy and counterfeit trinity composed of three deities: JAH-BUL-ON. (1) Jahweh, the Old Testament or Jewish Tanakh name for Almighty God; (2) Baal, the Canaanite fertility god associated with licentious rites and imitative magic; and (3) Osiris, the Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld. The 16th century demonologist, John Weir, identified Baal as a demon. Freemasonry is found to be contrary to the first three of the ten commandments, and denies Christ as “Lord of Lords and King of Kings” and “the only name by which we are saved.” In the words of Pike himself Jahbulon is “a mongrel word, in part composed of the name of an accursed and beastly heathen god whose name has been for more than two thousand years an appellation of the Devil.” In Morals and Dogma, Pike states that Masonry is the universal religion and that senior Masons take a conscious decision to mislead and deceive those in the lower degrees: “There true interpretation is reserved for the Princes of Masonry.”

The Order Knights Templar is conferred in the Order of the Temple. It was founded in the 12th century and is considerably older than Craft Masonry in its present form. It defines the eleven rituals and laws governing state and local level organisations. The state level is called a Grand Commandery of Knights Templar. This represents members of a state or an area of equivalent size. The local level is called a Commandery of Knights Templar. Women, Negroes and the poor are not admitted. The Templars are said to have represented the first wide-scale attempt to organise and mobilise the forces of occultism for the purpose of gaining control of the world. Today’s Masonic symbol is the same as worn by the Knights Templar of old who at first were a Christian-orientated organisation founded in the 11th century to protect and defend pilgrims travelling to Jerusalem. Over the years the Templars became tainted with the Islamic mysticism and Gnosticism embraced by some while in Palestine. They became further contaminated by a sect known as the Assassins. The Order of Knights Templar inevitably degenerated, and some are believed to have engaged in the practice of Phallicism, or sex worship, and Satanism ~ venerating Baphomet, the idol of Luciferians. The crime of sodomy was eventually a rite of Templar initiation. Freemasonry is clearly Luciferian worship, despite their very clever attempts to hide this fact. The Grand Master (at the time when King Philip IV of France tried and executed key members) was named Jacques de Molay. Since de Molay was Grand Master of the Knights Templar, it can be assumed he was also involved in these satanic and homosexual acts. “DeMolay” is somewhat disturbingly one of the orders of Freemasonry for young men.

  

According to the New Catholic Encyclopedia (Imprimatur: +Patrick A O’Boyle, Archbishop of Washington, 5th August 1966): “Membership in, associating with, or contributing to any aspect of Freemasonry under any title, including Mason, Freemason, Illuminati, Shriner, Order of the Eastern Star, Order of DeMolay, and many others, even if believed for a worthy cause (children’s hospital) or under the guise of entertainment (circus), should be understood as a grave offence against God. No organisation that is a separation from Freemasonry or a mimic thereof should be seen as anything but humanistic and self-serving. While any theist should be strongly opposed to any taint of Freemasonry, for Catholics it constitutes automatic excommunication once they have knowledge that the teachings of the Church proscribe any association or activity related to them.”

Twenty-one years after the organisation of the Grand Lodge of England, Catholics were forbidden to seek membership in any Masonic group. In the bull In Eminenti of 28th April 1736, Clement XII condemned Freemasonry in the first of twenty bulls against Freemasonry. Since 1738 seven other popes have specifically proscribed Freemasonry: Benedict XIV, Pius VII, Leo XIII, Pius VIII, Gregory XVI, Pius IX, and Leo XIII. Pius IX issued six bulls attacking Masonry. In 1884, Leo XIII, in Humanum Genus, endorsed the view that the Freemasons’ “real supreme aim” is “to persecute Christianity with untamed hatred, and they will never rest until they see cast to the ground all religious institutions established by the Pope.” The following words issued by Cardinal Ratzinger were approved and ordered by John Paul II in November 1983: “The Church’s negative judgment in regard to Masonic associations remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and therefore membership in them remains forbidden. Catholics who enrol in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion. Local Ecclesiastical authorities do not have the faculty to pronounce a judgment on the nature of Masonic associations which may include a diminution of the above-mentioned judgment.”

Baptist leaders have referred to Freemasonry as “an ungodly brotherhood of satanic darkness”; “there is an inherent incompatibility between Masonry and the Christian faith”; “there is a great danger that the Christian Mason may find himself compromising his allegiance to Jesus.” (The Baptist Union of Scotland, 1965).

Lutherans say “Masonry amounts to idolatry.” (Missouri Synod, 1959).

Presbyterians: “Masonry is a religious institution and as such is definitely anti-Christian.” (General Assembly, Rochester, 1942).

Methodists: “There is a great danger that the Christian who becomes a Freemason will find himself compromising his Christian beliefs. Methodists should not become Masons.” (General Assembly, London, 1985).

The Church of England: “A number of very fundamental reasons to question the compatibility of Freemasonry with Christianity.” (General Synod, London, 1987 ~ where several members of the committee were Masons!)

Russian Orthodox Church: “Any Orthodox who joins Masonry loses all the right and privileges of his membership in the Church.” (Strange Altars, Acker, page 60).

Kevin Chesham

Kevin Chesham was born at Enfield Lock on 15 August 1953. Chesham joined the Army (Royal Electrical Engineers) on 21 April 1975 to facilitate his desire to train as a modern pentathlete which involved  pistol shooting. He kept guns and ammunition at his various homes in the UK from that point. It was during his Army career that he met and married his first wife, Cyrena, a Roman Catholic whose priest refused to provide a church ceremony due to her marrying Chesham. He possessed a cold, detached and insensitive side which could have devastating consequences on those he knew.  Cyrena left him on 25 May 1992. It was also not too long after that when he met and married someone from Basildon, Essex, called Beverley Mason who insisted on retaining her maiden name "Mason" after they were wed. They seemed to have far more in common than the first marriage.

On 17 November 1993, whilst training at his body-building gym in Essex, Chesham had a stroke and was incapicitated for some time. At first he could not walk or talk and was unconscious for a week. It took him twelve months to recover his speech and ability to walk. If he had been using anabolic steriods before, he now ceased and shrunk back to his orginal size. Chesham and Mason sold their house in Basildon and left these shores for the other side of the world where life was not exactly as they had hoped or imagined. They did not like the New Zealanders' sense of humour and felt they would never fit in, or be accepted. It was while in that country, however, that Chesham first made the acquaintance of Satanist and neo-Nazi Kerry Bolton with whom he would remain thereafter in correspondence. He read Bolton's works and was greatly impressed by them. Chesham was warned by people he knew in the UK that Kerry Bolton was an agent of darkness and someone to be avoided at all costs. There have been sections driven by people with Bolton's mindset in the Church of Satan as well as outside it, such as the Abraxas Foundation, Werewolf Order, Order of the Black Ram, Black Order of Pan-Europa, Order of the Left Hand Path and so on. Also links exist between the Church of Satan and the Occult / Fascist National Renaissance Party. The founder of the Church of Satan, Anton Szandor LaVey (11 April 1930 – 29 October 1997) met with the National Renaissance Party leader, James H Madole. 

Kerry Raymond Bolton (born 1956) has been active in several organisations. He has written numerous publications focused around politics, race, metaphysics, religion and the occult, particularly Freemasonry. His 2006 doctoral dissertation was From Knights Templar to New World Order: Occult Influences in History - an examination of theories. This brings us smartly on to Kevin Chesham who completely transformed after living in New Zealand and forming an association with Kerry Bolton, founder of the Order of the Left Hand Path (renamed Ordo Sinistra Vivendi, then the Order of Deorc Fyre, and in the same year created the Black Order). Kerry Bolton was a former member of the Temple of Set (an offshoot of the Church of Satan) and was briefly secretary for the New Zealand Fascist Union. Bolton's Order was intended to be an activist front promoting an "Occult-Fascist Axis." 

A master's thesis was written about Kerry Bolton and published by the Waikato University titledDreamers of the Dark: Kerry Bolton and the Order of the Left Hand Path; a case-study of a satanic/neo-Nazi synthesis that dealt with the link between neo-Nazi and satanic beliefs in New Zealand. This is the man Chesham, originally of Basildon, Essex, cultivated a friendship with while in New Zealand. Upon his return to the United Kingdom, he and his wife, Beverley Mason, formed an unholy alliance with David Farrant. They met and connived how best to cause past friends and acquaintances maximum damage. They are supported by David Farrant's friend Redmond McWilliams who has met Chesham to give him his full support. Farrant's son, Jamie (born 1967), is a Facebook friend with all the aforementioned. John Pope has a history of extremist activity and is Farrant's longest-serving collaborator and friend. David Farrant, Jamie Farrant and Redmond McWilliams have Pope as their internet friend. Farrant remains in physical contact with Pope. Farrant and McWilliams are also in physical contact with Chesham, who is now permanently based in a foreign land at a secret location. Chesham made a point of visiting Farrant at his home whenever he was in the United Kingdom. They made a pilgrimage to Highgate Cemetery together in May 2013, accompanied by the pervert Redmond McWilliams and a Left-hand Path dabbler who is also a lesbian, absurdly describing herself as Farrant's wife. Needless to say, they are not married.

Ironically, Beverley Mason once wrote: "Seán Manchester is someone I have been acquainted with for some years. He possesses an inner serenity which has a soothing effect on all around him, as well as a deep passion for the ideals he holds close. He has a drive which governs his actions, and it is a drive for the forces of good over evil. He also has a sincere purity of heart." What happened to her and her husband that lured them to support the forces of evil remain speculative for the most part, but the fact that they were lured and did succumb is clear. David Farrant acted as a catalyst.

Jean-Paul Bourre visited Farrant at his London bedsit at the end of 1979 to form an unholy alliance. Bourre made his first pilgrimage to the once contaminated part of Highgate Cemetery, accompanied by Farrant, in 1980. He lost no time (as demonstrated in the photograph above) in attempting to evoke any lingering evil folowing a history of Satanism at the graveyard in previous decades. Bourre is the author of The Luciferian Sects of Today (Les sectes Luciferiennes aujourd'hui) where it is revealed that Francois de Groussouvre (Grand Master of the Priory of Sion) had an official cover job as organiser of the Presidential Hunting Parties which it is alleged was really a front for more intimate gatherings in private houses. Francois de Groussouvre was discovered dead in his office.

Farrant has a history of waging vendettas, sending black magic curses to people, issuing satanic death threats, mailing menacing missives and goodness knows what else to people he decides to attempt to involve in his publicity-seeking shenanigans. Quite why Seán Manchester merits so much attention is impossible to gauge until one factors in the demoniacal aspect. It is Seán Manchester's personal assessment that, while Farrant is a fraudster who believes in nothing except his self-serving publicity, his theatrical adoption of Satanism has opened him up to demonic interference, influence and possibly possession via supernatural forces about which we know little and understand even less.

It might appear puzzling why Chesham and Mason should want to join forces with such a degenerate until it is realised that Farrant has been an arch-enemy of Seán Manchester for the best part of half a century. If they wanted to cause him harm out of spite, or because they were under instruction, Farrant would be perceived as an obvious choice. The pathetic nature of the man must have nevertheless come as something of a disappointment to Kevin Chesham who once worked for local council establishments, the last was Gloucester Park Stadium, and Mason, an ex-teacher, who was involved in sport at Brentford. The last thing either of them would have needed is the damaging repercussions that result from open support for a  convicted felon who is also a publicity junkie — as well as a hate campaigner waging vendettas. Yet Chesham and Mason gave Farrant carte blanche to publicly attribute anything to his new friends in order to harm Seán Manchester.

When these machinations were first publicly revealed by Farrant around Christmas 2010, internet-users were led to believe that Chesham had been involved in the Highgate Cemetery case and possessed a lot of "information" concerning it. Nothing could be further from the truth, of course, as Seán Manchester has never discussed this case with him. Chesham would have been barely sixteen when the occurrences at Highgate Cemetery first became public knowledge, and the principal contagion was all but successfully exorcised around the period before he first became loosely acquainted with Seán Manchester who only ever tried to help people like Chesham. So that strategy failed even before it got off the ground. A different approach was therefore needed. Bearing in mind Chesham's association over recent years with   Kerry Bolton — an association Bishop Seán Manchester repeatedly warned him against, albeit such warnings falling on deaf ears — the latest stratagem of Chesham, Farrant and McWilliams certainly deserves to be examined more closely.

Beverley Mason, above, seated in Seán Manchester's art studio in August 2005. Below she is seen two years later in 2007. Much had changed, and that change was brought about due to the intention of both her and her husband, Kevin Chesham, to embark upon a path which led to Farrant. 

Beverley Mason and her husband Kevin Chesham (seated at their host's table in these images) attended a private Christmas dinner given by Seán Manchester and his wife on 26 December 2007. It was not unusual for people he had encountered down the years to be guests at his table. Indeed, Seán Manchester held a number of Christmas parties for friends, acquaintances and sundry individuals each year throughout December. These would be attended by anything up to twelve people, and on some occasions more. The attendees knew one another as a general rule. However, this would be the last time that Mason and Chesham would be present in person at such an occasion.

With the dinner over, people chatted and drank coffee, or, at least, tried to. Chesham and Mason were unusually reticent. At this point Mason said she wanted to be excused, but refused to use the downstairs lavatory, as she had always done in the past, and headed off for the one on the first floor.

While absent from those in the studio area on the ground floor, Mason set about going through the private belongings of Seán Manchester and his wife on the first floor, using her 'phone to photograph anything thought to have potential for causing damage. She focused on his small collection of militaria and sundry memorabilia, much of which had been kept from schooldays and teenage years, that was housed in a temporary storeroom. When she returned downstairs it would not be long before she and Chesham made their excuses and departed, never to be seen again. Time passed and nothing was heard from either of them. Then it became apparent that they had established contact with Farrant. This was initially denied when Mason was approached privately by Seán Manchester, but neither of them had bargained with Farrant spilling the beans on the internet, keeping the public informed about his progress with his new "good friends" and collaborators Kevin Chesham and Beverley Mason. Seán Manchester's warnings fell on deaf ears, especially after Chesham blocked him on Facebook.

They continued to develop a bond with Farrant, inviting him to spend Christmas with them whilst they were briefly resident in Finchley, London. Using the pseudonym "Raggety," Beverley Mason created a malicious blog in 2013 on which incitements of hatred were made against Seán Manchester and his friends. The fabrication, falsehood and defamation published by her could have come straight from Farrant himself. The following year she was busy giving Farrant five star reviews for his self-published drivel on Amazon; pamphlets, booklets and books crammed with libel, misrepresentation and copyright infringement that were sold from his attic bed-sitting room in London's Muswell Hill.

Farrant stated in a Penthouse magazine article: "Satanists worship Lucifer, the supreme power of evil, whereas witchcraft is a neutral thing — it's only evil if practised for an evil purpose." Like several of his Luciferian acquaintances, Jean-Paul Bourre amongst them, Farrant describes himself as someone who “accepts Lucifer as an important deity” and that he“worships Lucifer.” His words can be heard on a CD titled The Devil’s Fool which comprises thirty-two interview extracts from as many years of this man's infamous publicity-seeking career that is garnished throughout with the diabolical.

A video made by and featuring David Farrant with his satanic accomplice Gareth Medway at Christmas 2011 in his dingy bedsit culminates with the decapitation of Seán Manchester's head in effigy in the closing minutes. David Farrant has always attempted to contrive an infamous persona where necromantic diabolism quickly overshadowed his earlier attempts in 1970 to mimic Seán Manchester as an exorcist. He then adopted a phoney form of witchcraft where he manufactured quasi-satanic stunts for the benefit of the press. These cost him his liberty with him ending up being sentenced to a term of imprisonment. Though similar publicity stunts ensued upon his release from prison, he would never again catch the attention of the media in the same way that he did prior to and during his notorious "witchcraft" trials at the Old Bailey in 1974. His notoriety nonetheless continues to attract those who are often life's failures, non-entities and individuals who are more than willing to enter into a pact with the Devil.

Kevin Chesham's bizarre correspondence of December 2009, which proved to be his last to Seán Manchester's good friend of many years, Keith Maclean, ended with these fortuitous words:

Unknown to Seán Manchester at the time, Kevin's "struggle" had long since taken a different and more sinister direction — one that took him into the clutches of David Robert Donovan Farrant.

Nota Bene: "B.K." stands deceptively for "Brother Kevin" who would address Keith Maclean as "Brother Keith" in personal correspondence (see below). "K.C." (also employed by Keith Maclean above) are Chesham's initials. The portrait mentioned in the above correspondence is an expressionist painting finished at approximately the time of Kevin Chesham's final meeting with Seán Manchester in December 2007. The portrait was later reworked and given the title "Fool."
